Every beginning has an end and every end is a new beginning. GMU batch of 2014 is few months away from graduation. As an old age custom ,batch of 2015 came together to bid a warm farewell to their seniors last Thursday on 2nd MAY 2019.

The function was organized at 夜郎谷宋式古堡, the natural beauty and picturesque landscape of the place was mesmerizing. It was around dusk when the seniors started arriving to the venue, the walkway was adorned with pink balloons. The seniors were well received and were welcomed by putting badges on their chest. The venue was filled with joy and happiness, the essence of bonding shared by the batches was clearly visible. The dress code was black and white, the boys turned up dressed handsomely in black blazers and white shirt, whereas the girls attire were black and white gowns. At close to sunset, the event kick-started in the banquet hall which was decorated by radiant chandeliers.

The function started with guessing game, wherein seniors were appropriated with personalized titles aka nicks. Each time a name was announced, there was an applause from the crowd which was followed by a few chatters and tittle-tattle. The event was filled with poetry dedicated to seniors, encapsulating the good memories.

Thereafter, the seniors were presented with souvenir coffee mugs. The penultimate part of the evening was selection of Mr and Mrs Farewell, which happened through a lucky draw. Mr Farewell was bagged by Mr. Atif Rose and Miss Farewell was chipped by Miss Toukeer Amin.

Finally, everyone proceeded towards soul food barbeque party, the fine dine. The candid night proceeded with seniors cherishing the good old days and enjoying the evening. The memories will be embedded forever and a new phase of life awaits.
