The China ASEAN Education Exchange Week began in 2008, with the joint efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Government, and other parties. After 15 years of development, the scale and level of the exchange week have continued to increase, and achievements have emerged. It is a platform for exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries with education as the theme. It has played a positive role in promoting China ASEAN education cooperation, promoting friendship, consolidating cultural exchanges among people, and made contributions to serving the "the Belt and Road".

This year, with the support of the university and the joint efforts of faculty and students,our international students achieved excellent results in the 2023 China ASEAN Education Exchange Week activities.

In the selection of the "China ASEAN Youth Painting Exhibition", UZAIR MUHAMMAD (student from 2022 batch)'s work "Crossing Mountains and Seas, Sharing Prosperity" (supervised by Tian Weixiang) won the second prize, ATIF ULLAH (student from 2019 batch)'s work "Friendship Lasts Forever, Connecting Hands Together" (supervised by Tian Weixiang) won the third prize, and Tian Weixiang won the Excellent Guidance Teacher Award. As a representative of young students, ATIF ULLAH was invited to attend the award ceremony.

In the 2023 China ASEAN Education Exchange Week "My Story of China" Chinese Essay Contest, YOUNAS MUHAMMAD (student from 2019 batch)'s work "Endless Story" (supervised by Lv Haiqiong) won the second prize, ATIF ULLAH's work "Encountering China, Becoming a Better Yourself" (supervised by Zhou Ting) won the second prize, Hassan Syeda Farwah (student from 2019 batch)'s work "Approaching China, Falling in Love with China" (supervised by Chen Lin) won the Excellent award, and Lv Haiqiong and Zhou Ting were awarded as excellent guidance teachers. All three essay works were selected for this competition's essay collection.
