Guizhou Medical University, school of Overseas Education had its first international student’s award night on the 24^th of December 2019. The award ceremony acknowledged the tremendous achievements of the students across the whole spectrum in medicine in the school. The awards recognized that this pursuit of excellence is not confined to academic achievement but encompasses the whole range of activities that makes for a rounded and balanced education.  The evening was a celebration of the achievements of the students over the past school year.

The evening began with the introduction of the guests, some of which were the vice president, Liu Jian, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office Fu Qihong, The Dean of Overseas Education College Wu Jiahong

Mr. Rohit and Ms. Lily (The host and Hostess) welcomed the large attendance which included special guests, members of the staff of school of Overseas Education, Teachers, Friends, and most importantly, the students themselves.

The now Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office who was the first dean of the Overseas Education College, Fu Qihong shared the joy of coming to the scene with his classmates, gave a sincere congratulations to the winners, and encouraged other students not to stop the pursuit of success. “Future victory belongs to you guys”。

The new Dean Wu Jiahong stated that the event should be an encouragement for the new students to be persistent in their hard work, it pays, and anyone who doesn’t work hard would be a victim of failure.

The event was graced with different renditions from the students and also the teachers, there were dance presentations, singing, and cultural display, the event was a glorious one.
